Return to Balance
Detox as Daily Care: May 1-4, 2026
A conscious 3-night retreat devoted to honoring the body’s innate capacity to cleanse, restore, and return to balance through plant-based support and guidance from the rhythms of nature.
Return to Balance is an immersive herbal detox retreat designed to help you understand how the body cleanses, regulates, and restores itself naturally. Rather than forcing processes, we focus on creating the right internal and external conditions for the body to do what it already knows how to do.
Rooted in herbalism, heat therapy, rest, and nervous-system regulation, this retreat offers an ecological view of the human body as a living ecosystem—supported by plant-based practices that gently engage digestion, elimination, and repair.
Through embodied herbalism and educational practices, participants learn how to work with plants in realistic, sustainable ways—building daily rituals that support detoxification long after the retreat ends.
What makes this detox different?
Here you won’t find extreme protocols or unnecessary restrictions. This experience offers:
A biological and ecological understanding of detoxification, grounded in herbal physiology
Daily herbal support for digestion, liver, lymph, skin, and nervous system
A focus on safety, regulation, and nourishment before release
Practical plant-based tools you can replicate at home
No fluff or fads — just grounded physiology, real practices, and conditions that support the body’s actual processes. Each day weaves together learning, herbal preparation, rest, and embodied experiences, allowing the body to process gently while the mind understands the why behind each practice.
An intimate and held environment
The experience takes place over 3 nights and 4 days, from May 1st - 4th, at Casa Suyana in the Sacred Valley, intentionally designed for small groups to allow close guidance, personalized attention, and a safe and quiet environment. The natural surroundings — river, mountains, and gardens — hold the process organically.
The invitation
Return to Balance invites a shift in perspective: detox is not an isolated event, but a living rhythm that begins with safety, is nourished with care, and sustained with awareness. It’s not about forcing the body to cleanse — it’s about remembering that it already knows how.
A detox you understand, not just experience. Rooted in plants, heat, rest, and embodied learning.
Core elements of the experience:
Wood-fired sauna
Plant baths, castor oil packs, and mineral exfoliation
Herbalism education with daily digestive and detox support
Nervous system restoration practices and deep rest
Conscious meals and liquids used as metabolic support
Integration spaces to carry practices into daily life
Optional Services (additional cost): massage, acupuncture, iridology readings, and personalized herbal consultations.
This retreat is for you if:
You’re a hard-working, everyday human who needs a moment of pause
You feel overstimulated, depleted, or inflamed — and are longing for more ease
You’re drawn to natural wellness, plants, or herbalism, even if you don’t know where to begin
You want to understand how the body restores itself, rather than push it to extremes
You value learning and hands-on experience over luxury or performance
You appreciate slowness, simplicity, and quiet
You’re open to disconnecting, softening, and being fully present
You prefer small, intimate group settings
You want practical tools you can gently weave into daily life
You’re seeking nervous system regulation, not intensity
You’re ready to work with your body — listening, supporting, and allowing — rather than overriding or fixing it.
This retreat is not for you if:
You are seeking a luxury spa weekend or constant pampering
You want extreme detoxes, prolonged fasting, or weight-loss-driven approaches
You need constant stimulation, activities, or entertainment
You feel uncomfortable with quiet or slow pacing
You are unwilling to disconnect from phones or external distractions

JoLyn is a multi-passionate wellness practitioner whose path has woven together food, plants, and holistic health. Her journey began in 2018 after a kidney infection led her to question a sole reliance on Western medicine and explore alternative approaches to healing. This curiosity brought her into fermentation, foundational Ayurveda, and formal training through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN).
In 2019, moving to Peru’s Sacred Valley deepened her connection to medicinal plants and plant-based wisdom. By 2022, she shifted into catering for holistic retreats, cooking intentional, local, organic meals and integrating kitchen herbalism—where food becomes medicine. Today, alongside her work in the kitchen, JoLyn is deeply passionate about the body’s innate intelligence and communication. She is currently completing a certification in iridology, a practice that offers insight into physical health, inherited patterns, emotional states, strengths, and vulnerabilities. At the Return to Balance retreat, JoLyn is excited to share practical, accessible tools for lasting health and meaningful transformation.

Satya is a clinical herbalist, 500-hour yoga teacher, and transformational space holder whose path has carried her from the mountains of Colorado into deep relationship with the Andes of Peru. Her work is rooted in a simple intention: creating space to return to nature and invite deep remembrance.
Trained in Western Vitalist Herbalism and Eastern Ayurvedic Medicine, Satya supports people in understanding the story their body is telling and learning how to work with it—rather than against it—to restore balance, vitality, and trust in the body’s innate intelligence. She approaches detoxification as a relational, daily practice that emerges through alignment with nature’s rhythms.
At the heart of her work is the restoration of relationship—between human and earth, body and spirit. Through herbal education, teaching, and space holding, Satya empowers people to walk their own paths with confidence, inviting deep listening, slowing down, and reconnection with the natural world.
